HARA is a Danish cross-disciplinary architecture studio working with resource conscious architecture, urbanism, and technology.
Our mission is to create projects and ideas that, with a special sense of presence, establish a connection between the sensory, the artistic, and the concrete.

The studio is often involved in transformation projects but also engages in new construction, furniture, and artistic work.

The concept of presence is a significant driving force for our work, from the initial sketch to long after the building has been adopted by its users. When presence is embedded in architecture, it binds us to our buildings, fostering close relationships. It inspires us to maintain and appreciate them as a backdrop for the unfolding of life. The desire for presence is reflected in all aspects of our work, as we believe that good architecture arises from a deep mental presence in all phases of the projects.

We aim to contribute to architecture playing a significant role in creating better conditions for our planet. We aspire to contribute architecture that paves the way for a harmonious relationship between tradition and technology, physical and metaphysical aspects, constantly challenging the architect's role in our future society. We can achieve this by building fewer but better square meters. Optimization of construction and awareness of our resource consumption are keywords in developing a new understanding of architecture's contribution to the well-being of the planet and us.

Studio HARA has experience in all phases of construction, including: concept and programming, sketch proposals, concept development, planning, project management, regulatory contact, and more.

Studio HARA is founded in 2023 by Peter Ravnborg.
